\n\u2022 La propiedad y posesi\u00f3n de las tierras tradicionalmente ocupadas por ellos, y en casos particulares, de tierras en las que realizan sus actividades tradicionales y de subsistencia como los pueblos n\u00f3madas y agricultores itinerantes. Los gobiernos tienen la obligaci\u00f3n de proteger esos derechos, y delimitar esas tierras (Art. 14).<\/p>\n
\u2022 A utilizar, administrar y conservar los recursos naturales existentes en sus tierras; y en caso de que los minerales o recursos del subsuelo sean propiedad del Estado, a ser consultados y otorgar, o no consentimiento a los gobiernos antes de que emprendan cualquier proyecto de explotaci\u00f3n, a participar de los beneficios y a ser indemnizados por los da\u00f1os que puedan generar (Art. 15).<\/p>\n
\u2022 A no ser trasladados de las tierras que ocupan. Y en los casos que hayan sido trasladados por causas mayores y con su propio consentimiento, tienen derecho a:<\/p>\n
– recibir tierras de calidad igual o mejor a las anteriores, que garanticen su desarrollo y con t\u00edtulos de propiedad; o a ser indemnizados;
\n– y a regresar a sus tierras tradicionales cuando cesan esas causas.(Art. 16).<\/p>\n
