\nLa Constituci\u00f3n Pol\u00edtica de Bolivia de 2009 es considerada una de las m\u00e1s progresistas de la regi\u00f3n. \u2022 Convenio 169 de la OIT<\/p>\n

Bolivia fue uno de los primeros pa\u00edses en firmar el Convenio en 1989, y lo ratific\u00f3 por Ley 1257 el 11 de Julio de 1991. Se considera que este convenio fue un hito para la modificaci\u00f3n del sistema jur\u00eddico de Bolivia, y las modificaciones de la Constituci\u00f3n de 1995 referidas a pueblos ind\u00edgenas.<\/p>\n

El mismo contin\u00faa vigente, as\u00ed como las resoluciones de los comit\u00e9s de quejas de la OIT sobre el cumplimiento del Convenio.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Pactos Internacionales de Derechos Econ\u00f3micos, Sociales y Culturales (PIDESC) y de Derechos Civiles y Pol\u00edticos (PIDCP)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bolivia adhiere a ambos tratados desde el 12 de Agosto de 1982, y firm\u00f3 el Protocolo Facultativo del PIDESC el 12 de Febrero de 2010<\/strong>, lo cual permite presentar denuncias sobre la violaci\u00f3n de derechos econ\u00f3micos, sociales y culturales ante Naciones Unidas.

Bolivia otorga rango de ley a los 46 art\u00edculos de la Declaraci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas sobre los derechos de los pueblos ind\u00edgenas [ver secci\u00f3n Declaraci\u00f3n ONU-PI], mediante la Ley N.\u00ba 3760 del 5 de noviembre de 2007.

Bolivia firm\u00f3 y ratific\u00f3 la Convenci\u00f3n Americana de Derechos Humanos (CADH) en 1993. Desde entonces el congreso nacional reconoce la competencia de la Comisi\u00f3n Interamericana de Derechos Humanos, y la jurisdicci\u00f3n y competencia de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos.<\/p>\n

Con respecto al Protocolo de San Salvador, el mismo fue firmado en 1988, pero no ha sido ratificado.<\/p>\n
