La mayor parte se concentra en la Isla de Rama Cay, pero tambi\u00e9n habitan al Sur del Municipio de Bluefields y en el Municipio de San Juan de Nicaragua.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Territorio<\/strong><br \/>Comparten con los Creoles un territorio de 4.068 km2 de tierra y 4.413 km2 de mar al sur de Bluefields, la capital en la RAAS<\/p>\n<p><strong>Poblaci\u00f3n<\/strong><br \/>De acuerdo al VIII Censo de Poblaci\u00f3n realizado en el a\u00f1o 2005, en Nicaragua habitan 4.185 Ramas, constituyendo el pueblo ind\u00edgena m\u00e1s peque\u00f1o en cuanto a poblaci\u00f3n. El Gobierno Territorial Rama-Kriol realiz\u00f3 un Censo en el a\u00f1o 2006, en el que identificaron a 1.600 ramas . Conforman 9 comunidades, de las cuales 6 son exclusivamente Ramas (Rama Cay, Punta de \u00c1guila, Zompopera, Samu Kat, R\u00edo Indio y R\u00edo Kukra), y otras tres son Rama-Creoles (Monkey Point, R\u00edo Indio y Punta Gorda).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Organizaci\u00f3n Ind\u00edgena<\/strong><br \/>Desde el a\u00f1o 2004, conforman junto a los Creoles, el Gobierno Territorial Rama y Kriol (GTR-K). Este gobierno es elegido a trav\u00e9s de Asamblea General con representantes de las 9 comunidades, y tiene sede en Bluefields.
