De acuerdo a la OIT (2006) son 20.000 personas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Organizaci\u00f3n Ind\u00edgena<\/strong><br \/>\nLa Coordinadora Nicarao aglutina a los pueblos ind\u00edgenas de Nancim\u00ed, Ostional, Veracruz del Zapotal, Urbait\u00e9 de las Pilas y Salinas de Nahualapa.
