\u2022 Convenio 169 de la OIT<\/strong>
El 2 de Diciembre de 1993, mediante la Resoluci\u00f3n Legislativa N\u00ba 26.253<\/strong>, Per\u00fa ratific\u00f3 el Convenio 169 sobre pueblos ind\u00edgenas y tribales en pa\u00edses independientes, adoptado por la Organizaci\u00f3n Internacional del Trabajo en 1989 [ver secci\u00f3n C-169].<\/strong> El mismo tiene rango de Ley Nacional, y contin\u00faa vigente, as\u00ed como las resoluciones de los comit\u00e9s de quejas de la OIT sobre el cumplimiento del Convenio.<\/p>\n

Pactos Internacionales de Derechos Econ\u00f3micos, Sociales y Culturales (PIDESC) y de Derechos Civiles y Pol\u00edticos (PIDCP)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ambos fueron firmados en 1977 y ratificados el 28 de Abril de 1978. Sin embargo, hasta el momento Per\u00fa no ha firmado el Protocolo Facultativo del PIDESC (disponible desde 2008), que permite presentar denuncias sobre la violaci\u00f3n de derechos econ\u00f3micos, sociales y culturales ante Naciones Unidas.<\/p>\n

Tienen vigencia las Observaciones Generales e Informes de Relatores Especiales.<\/p>\n

Declaraci\u00f3n de Naciones Unidas sobre Pueblos Ind\u00edgenas<\/strong>
En el a\u00f1o 2007, cuando las Naciones Unidas realizaron las votaciones para adoptar la Declaraci\u00f3n de los Derechos de los Pueblos Ind\u00edgenas [ver secci\u00f3n Declaraci\u00f3n ONU-PI], Per\u00fa actu\u00f3 como copatrocinador de la Declaraci\u00f3n, y vot\u00f3 a favor de la misma.<\/p>\n

Per\u00fa firm\u00f3 la Convenci\u00f3n Americana de Derechos Humanos (CADH) en 1977, y la ratific\u00f3 en 1978. Tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 vigente el Protocolo de San Salvador desde 1988, y todos los tratados que integran el Sistema Interamericano de Protecci\u00f3n de los Derechos Humanos. A su vez, acepta la competencia de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos.<\/p>\n
