El proceso de territorializaci\u00f3n implica nuevos desaf\u00edos de organizaci\u00f3n para los Pueblos y Organizaciones Ind\u00edgenas, para la administraci\u00f3n y gesti\u00f3n de sus territorios.<\/p>\n

La Gobernanza territorial implica a menudo el paso desde una forma de organizaci\u00f3n comunal (sobre \u00e1reas peque\u00f1as, las tierras de la comunidad) hacia formas de organizaci\u00f3n colectiva de grandes territorios en los que habitan decenas de comunidades que deben acordar las normas y pol\u00edticas que regir\u00e1n en sus territorios.<\/p>\n

En Am\u00e9rica Latina, el derecho ind\u00edgena a la gobernanza ha sido consagrado en las Constituciones Nacionales de varios pa\u00edses. En Bolivia, la Constituci\u00f3n Nacional del Estado (2009) garantiza a los Pueblos Ind\u00edgenas su libre determinaci\u00f3n en el marco de la unidad del Estado, que incluye su derecho a la autonom\u00eda, al autogobierno, a su cultura, y al reconocimiento de sus instituciones. En Ecuador, la Constituci\u00f3n Nacional (2008) establece los derechos de las Nacionalidades Ind\u00edgenas a la autonom\u00eda pol\u00edtica-administrativa y jur\u00eddica, tanto para el manejo de sus asuntos internos como para las relaciones con organismos p\u00fablicos y privados.<\/p>\n
