Como ventaja adicional, estiman que facilitar\u00eda el control de los recursos naturales.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, es un proceso en construcci\u00f3n puesto que ancestralmente los Pueblos Ind\u00edgenas no defin\u00edan l\u00edmites territoriales. Y por otra parte, podr\u00eda ser un riesgo en caso que el Estado desatienda los servicios b\u00e1sicos en los territorios ind\u00edgenas, especialmente en el caso de que la autonom\u00eda no incluya el control de los recursos naturales y la coparticipaci\u00f3n que hoy recibe todo municipio de parte del gobierno nacional. <\/p>\n<p>Esta v\u00eda se considera preferible en los territorios ind\u00edgenas donde el Estado no tuvo ni tiene presencia, como el caso de la Amazon\u00eda Colombiana; y en territorios ind\u00edgenas que no se sobreponen con l\u00edmites municipales o departamentales. Pero en general, en Ecuador, Bolivia y Colombia los pueblos y nacionalidades tienen territorios fragmentado entre distintos municipios, departamentos, e incluso entre pa\u00edses.
