\nEn Bolivia, Ecuador, Per\u00fa, Colombia, Brasil, Nicaragua y Panam\u00e1 existen tierras que son consideradas a su vez Territorios Ind\u00edgenas, y tambi\u00e9n \u00c1reas Naturales Protegidas por el Estado. <\/p>\n
Para estos casos particulares, Colombia cuenta con un r\u00e9gimen especial y Per\u00fa ha creado la figura de Reserva Comunal la cual permite que las comunidades ind\u00edgenas tengan acceso a los recursos naturales de su territorio a modo de co-administradores. Sin embargo, existen a\u00fan muchos casos sin resolver.<\/p>\n

El Parque Nacional Utr\u00eda propone la construcci\u00f3n de un R\u00e9gimen Intercultural para el Co-Manejo del \u00c1rea Protegida, la cual se superpone con Resguardos Ind\u00edgenas Ember\u00e1 y colinda con tierras de comunidades negras. No obstante, las Organizaciones Ind\u00edgenas Locales reclaman la exclusividad en el manejo y administraci\u00f3n de sus territorios solapados por el Parque. <\/p>\n Los territorios Mayagna, Miskitu y la Reserva de bi\u00f3sfera Bosaw\u00e1s en Nicaragua. Desde su creaci\u00f3n en 1991, la Reserva Bosaw\u00e1s, administrada por el ministerio de Ambiente y Recursos Naturales de Nicaragua, se superpone con los territorios ancestrales de los Mayagna y Miskitu. La experiencia del Pil\u00f3n Lajas, a la vez Reserva de la Biosfera y Territorio Ind\u00edgena, es un ejemplo de distintas formas o grados de participaci\u00f3n ind\u00edgena en su co-manejo: desde la participaci\u00f3n en diagn\u00f3sticos de situaci\u00f3n, a la participaci\u00f3n en aspectos operativos, y finalmente en la toma de decisiones.
